We've got Theater anyway, so why not just grab more characters?

I'm barely scraping by to hit C2 Odette with free primogems and shop resets tomorrow, but as an F2P, should I really save for future banners instead? Missing Sandrone and Yae means I can't build meta teams, and since I've made so many regret pulls, I just wanna lock in on genuinely strong units from now on.

Thx to whoever replied tho, might as well keep my roster wide. Even for F2P, trying to be picky only gets you so close to getting everything anyway.

F2Ps can never keep up a meta team or dodge bad luck forever anyway, so instead of playing 4D chess trying to game the meta, it's way more fun to just YOLO every single pull the second you hit 160 primogems and make whatever jank team you rolled actually work. Besides, Genshin's core is less about sweaty meta-chasing and more about vibing through the version updates with your squad, so if you're broke you gotta find fun in the chaos.

For f2p/low spenders, just wait for reruns once the dust settles on a character's value. If they're actually future-proof, they'll still be good when they come back.

If min-maxing is seriously your idea of fun, researching and planning out your pulls should be part of the game itself, right? Asking randoms online just screams brainless "that's just how gacha works" NPC behavior, like everyone's still glued to tier lists running the exact same cookie-cutter teams.

I mean, going for cons or signature weapons as a low spender just ruins your fund for new characters, so wide-and-shallow is the safe bet. That said, chasing the meta is its own kind of fun, so do whatever. If you want power just swipe your card and max out everything, otherwise deal with the FOMO when the shill phase ends.
