[Q] I kinda like Seven Hills, is its rep actually that bad?

Wuthering Waves fans have been posting up a storm — here's what they're saying.

tbh I kinda dig Seven Hills, why does everyone hate it lmao

like the Lahai-Roi team actually used the map for quests and side stories so people grew to love the place itself, but the Seven Hills team just gave us a crap Genfang with a dateing sim date with Danjin and zero lore digging into Genfang City. like "oh no Genfang City is breaking!" and expected us to cry out of nowhere in 3.7? hell nah, that's literally Seven Hills and it sucks. they put all that detail into the map and gave us zero reasons to actually care about it? Genfang is the exact same. only thing we can do is trash it in the survey fr

fell in love at first sight with Yuno so idc about the story lol, Seven Hills is fine by me... tho it's a trash map cuz my fps tanks the second I start soaring wtf

Kuro puts way too many dev resources into story and map updates, so when we get a weird dimension-hopping crap story from the Seven Hills team it's brutal af. u can tell immediately cuz the dialogue is just info dumps and nonstop dating sim junk. only option is to shred them in the survey and get them fired ngl

i mean the Laguna team is def the Lahai-Roi team tbh. they actually know how to use mascot chars like echoes and spirits, and they throw in local festival events to make u fall in love with the area so the whole country feels cohesive. the Seven Hills Genfang team literally just wants to make a visual novel so u never feel the actual nation, the dialogue is just exposition 24/7, and they think doing some Monster Hunter or pirate ship gimmick makes up for the low quality, it's so cringe. only choice is to flame them in the survey

tbh for me character-wise Laguna > Seven Hills. holy maiden and banker are just too peak fr

The Seven Hills team needs to step up their writing instead of just dropping info dumps and dating sim filler.
